The VOX V846 Vintage Wah is an improved version of the original 1967 unit that was based on the mid-range boost built into one of VOX's classic amps. While originally designed to mimic the sound of a trumpet, the wah pedal quickly became a fan-favourite among some of the most iconic guitarists the world has ever seen. Since it's still as indispensable today as it was back then, VOX re-introduce this legendary bit of kit.
The V846 Vintage: A Fully Authentic Wah
This effect pedal has been accurately reproduced down to the smallest components to guarantee authentic wah-wah sounds. The broad sweep combines with boosted high frequencies for a classic response while, thanks to 3D scanning technology, the housing is essentially a carbon-copy of the original, complete with period-correct graphics and baseplate screws.
